The Hennessey Venom F5

Hi,

Here is my latest creation, a 1:8 scale replica of the Hennessey Venom F5. It was designed as a non-exclusive commission, so I am pleased to announce that instructions are available now.

The model was designed with the aim to stay as close as possible to the real car. So the carbon monocoque is a single module, just like the real car. Frames for the engine, suspension and steering are bolted to the monocoque.

The bodywork was a challenge in itself. This car has so many aggresive lines and curves. Luckily the LEGO Sian introduced some new triangular panels that are perfect for creating those high angled front wheel fenders.

The design is optimized to the parts that come with the LEGO Sian (42115), so over three quarter of the parts come from that set.
