Lexus LFA 1:10

Hi,

It's been a long time, over three years, since I have posted a new LEGO design on my website. However, now that I'm back, the coming months I will post a new blog every month to show the creations I have made in the past few years.

To start of, I would like to introduce you to a 1:10 scale replica of the Lexus LFA. It was designed as an exclusive commission and doesn't include any building instructions.

As you can see in the picture, the model consists of two versions: a white car with a black roof, and a car that is completely red. I carefully crafted the styling of the model to mirror the real Lexus LFA as much as possible.

The car includes the following features:
- Independent suspension on all wheels
- Steering via steeringwheel (no HoG)
- Sequential 4-speed gearbox, which is operated through flappy pedals on the steering column
- Separate D-N-R switch in the center console
- A V10 fake engine (with regular LEGO pistons)
- Retractable rear spoiler
- And, of course, the doors and hood can be opened.

A very special moments was when Akio Toyoda, the grandson of the founder of Toyota Motors, received this model.
